Personal Profile

I produce, manage, and design games and digital media with a focus in content for children and learning. With over 8 years experience in games and digital media creation and 3 years experience as an educator, I am able to merge design theory and pedagogy to create effective and entertaining games and learning experiences. I have produced over 30 titles for PC, iOS, and Android, for an audience of an average of 1.2 million per year.

Interactive Technology Manager at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

2019 - present

Responsible for producing and providing oversight of the design, development, project management, implementation, and maintenance of exhibit games and creative media to drive significant new and repeat visitation and enhance the visitor experience for the museum, for an audience of approximately 1.2 million per year. Responsible for the supervision of staff and vendors, maintaining agile development processes, creating and managing project timelines and budgets, and gathering assets for interactive and digital projects. Oversee internal cross-departmental and external resources to deliver on-time and on-budget exhibit and interactive projects.

Instructional Technologist at Indiana University

October 2015 - 2019

Worked in conjuntion with IU faculty, developers, and technology vendors to iteratively design and rapid prototype games and other digital experiences to support the pedagogical intent of course content and interactions. Provided project management for migration of IU's compliance system from Absorb e-Training to Canvas and Catalog, and designed data visualization reporting system. Provided project management and asset development of Medical Imaging Technologies degree program. Created WebGL, iOS, and Android games and courses for teaching movement skills in conjunction with dance legend Twyla Tharp for a collaboration with Indiana University, who is being awarded a 2018 Indiana Governor's Arts Award for the project. Identified and led pilots for emerging technologies for university adoption, such as the Smart Classrooms initiative and Google AR/VR Higher Ed case studies creating 360 interactive virtual tours using Jump Odyssey, Vuze, and Google Tour Builder and Expeditions.
